Seven companies receive $ 115 million Navy contract amendment for ship maintenance work in San Diego

Seven companies based in California and Virginia have received an amendment to contracts previously awarded to the US Navy for the ongoing maintenance of guided missile destroyers, cruisers and amphibious ships stationed or visiting San Diego.

Potential $ 114.7 million contract amendment awarded to Colonna West, East Coast Repair and Fabrication, Epsilon Systems Solutions, Marine Group Boat Works, Pacific Ship Repair and Fabrication, Propulsion Controls Engineering and South Coast Welding and Manufacturing shipyards has exercised the fourth option period, the Defense Ministry said Thursday.

Work on the Firm Fixed Price Amendment of the Undefined Delivery / Multi-Allotment Undefined Quantity contracts will run through May 2022.

Each contract has one or more potential delivery notes under which financing will be required from contractors.

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center in San Diego, California awarded the contract amendment.
