NSML and EA Temile Sign Construction Supervision Agreement | The Guardian Nigeria News

NLNG Ship Management Limited (NSML) and EA Temile & Sons Development Company Limited have signed an agreement to oversee the construction of a new 23,000 cubic meter LPG vessel at the Hyundai Mipo shipyard in South Korea.

The new LPG vessel is a sister vessel of LPG Alfred Temile. NSML will be responsible for overseeing the construction of the vessel at the Hyundai Mipo shipyard in Korea.

NSML is the subsidiary of Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), which offers integrated maritime services including marine project management, maritime training, crew management and administration, fleet management, terminal management services and advisory services.

The agreement was signed by the Managing Director and CEO of NSML, Mr. Abdulkadir Ahmed, and the CEO of EA Temile, Mr. Alfred Temile.

Speaking at the milestone event, Ahmed said overseeing the construction of the new LPG vessel was in line with NSML’s vision to be “an international marine services company supporting the growth and development of the industry Nigerian Maritime”, which fully aligns with NLNG’s vision to “contribute to building a better Nigeria.”

In his remarks, EA Temile Managing Director Alfred Temile said that its first LPG vessel, LPG Alfred Temile, is chartered to NLNG for its domestic LPG program.

He said his company looks forward to taking delivery of the new carrier in July 2023.
