The Swiss IT and engineering company MESPAS informs that it has completely redesigned its software for the technical management of ships, which results in a more modern, intuitive and user-friendly user interface.
The new look is based on Microsoft’s design guidelines, said, noting that the new software solution looks familiar and easy to use for those familiar with Microsoft Office products. Meanwhile, the interface itself uses the latest up-to-date software technology.
MESPAS Technical Ship Management is a maritime software for purchasing, maintenance, QHSE, operations and crew management. The software tool offers functionality to manage a fleet, in combination with mobile apps for daily tasks such as approvals. Looking ahead, MISPAS indicates that further requests for inspection and execution of maintenance work on board are in preparation for next year.
MISPAS claims to focus more on app development than a browser-based solution. The company believes the apps provide a more professional tool for users, with increased functionality and flexibility, higher security standards, and faster data transfer.
Daniel Gsponer, Chief Technology Officer, said, “Our customers are very pleased with the new MESPAS TSM user interface. It looks good and is easy to learn, easy to use and intuitive. The technical management of ships becomes easier to manage, the data for decision-making is at your fingertips.
